Click the “Inventory” link on the DealerAccelerate navigation menu, located at the top of your screen. This will take you to the Inventory Dashboard.
From the Inventory Dashboard, select the vehicle that you want to create a new task for. This will take you to the Inventory Listing Summary tab.
From the Inventory Listing Summary tab, click the “Tasks” tab located at the top of the Inventory Listing (Fig. 1). This will take you to the Tasks list for the specific vehicle listing.

To create a task, click the “Add Task” button above the top right corner of the Tasks list (Fig. 2). This will create a new Task record (Fig. 3).

Enter all available information for the new task. At a minimum, each new Task requires the Category, Task Type, and Assigned To fields be complete. When you’ve entered all necessary information, click the “Create” button in the top right corner of the Task record. This will take you back to the Tasks tab and a notification will appear in the top right corner of your screen to indicate the Task has been successfully created.
New tasks can be viewed on the vehicle’s Inventory Listing Tasks tab as well as the Tasks Dashboard on the DealerAccelerate Home Screen.
