How do I change a vehicle make and/or model?

Add a Vehicle Make

STEP 1:

Navigate to DealerAccelerate’s Settings Menu. You can do this by either clicking the triangle on the DealerAccelerate navigation menu (located at the top of your screen) and clicking “Settings” or by clicking the “Settings” link on the bottom of any DealerAccelerate page.

STEP 2:

In the Settings Menu, click the “Makes” tab (Fig. 1).

NOTE: The number of tabs on your Settings screen may vary from what is picture above, based on your user permissions.

STEP 3:

Under the Makes tab, click the “Add Make” button (Fig. 2) located above the top right corner of the Makes list.

STEP 4:

A dialog box will appear with a field to enter the new make name (Fig. 3).

Enter the new make and click “OK.” This will create a new make record and take you to the new make’s record screen (Fig. 4). A notification will appear in the top right corner of your screen to indicate the new make has been successfully created.

Add Models to a Vehicle Make

STEP 1:

Navigate to DealerAccelerate’s Settings Menu. You can do this by either clicking the triangle on the DealerAccelerate navigation menu (located at the top of your screen) and clicking “Settings” or by clicking the “Settings” link on the bottom of any DealerAccelerate page.

STEP 2:

In the Settings Menu, click the “Makes” tab (Fig. 5). This will take you to the Vehicle Makes list.

STEP 3:

From the Vehicle Makes list, click the name of the make where you want to add new models. This will bring you to the make’s record screen.

STEP 4:

On the make’s record screen, click the “Add Model” button (Fig. 5) located in the top right corner.

Clicking “Add Model” will bring up the Enter Model Value Bar in the Model column (Fig. 6).

STEP 5:

Enter the model name. To add a secondary model (such as GT, LTD, etc.), click the “+” button to the right of the Enter Model Value Bar. This will bring up an additional Enter Value Bar in the Secondary Models column (Fig. 7).

To enter additional Secondary Models to an existing model, click the “+” button directly below the Secondary Models Value Bar. To delete Secondary Models from an existing model, click the “x” button directly to the right of the Secondary Models Value Bar.

STEP 6:

Once you’ve entered the model name and any additional secondary models, click the “Save” button. A notification will appear in the top right corner of your screen to indicate the new model has been successfully created.
